Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of related customer experience, preferably in healthcare, required.
• Experience with scheduling or pre-registering patients; call center experience welcome.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients during registration to create a welcoming experience.
• Enter demographic and insurance information accurately in the EHR.
• Obtain signatures and provide patient rights and HIPAA information.
• Verify insurance, pre-authorizations, referrals as needed.
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and manage appointment scheduling.
• Remind patients of appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Organize and follow up on patient care paperwork.
• Schedule appointments and handle mail as needed.
