Tidelands Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative II to register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule appointments. You will help manage referrals and ensure accurate data entry in the electronic health record, aiming for a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related customer experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience scheduling or pre-registering patients; call center experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle first call resolutions.
• Pre-register patients and verify insurance.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; coordinate referrals.
• Obtain signatures and required forms (HIPAA Privacy Notice, ABN, etc.).
• Answer inbound/outbound calls and direct callers efficiently.
• Provide information on patient rights, financial assistance, and policies.
