Tidelands Health is seeking a Patient Services Representative II for the Myrtle Beach, SC area. This PRN, day-shift role focuses on registering patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and coordinating pre-authorizations and referrals to support a positive patient experience.

You will document in the EHR, obtain required signatures, handle callbacks, schedule appointments, and assist with referrals across multiple departments. Tidelands Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of related customer experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience scheduling or pre-registering patients; call center experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Register patients and handle first-call resolutions.
• Enter accurate demographic and insurance information into the EHR.
• Obtain signatures and explain HIPAA/privacy forms and financial policies.
• Verify insurance and obtain referrals, authorizations, and pre-certifications.
• Answer inbound and outbound calls and coordinate patient communications.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with care providers.
• Organize and process paperwork related to patient care.
