This position supports hybrid work and may involve day/evening shifts; compliance with policies and high attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Patient Access Representative or Patient Scheduler preferred.
• Certification in Healthcare Business Insight’s Patient Access 2nd Level within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain demographic and financial details and updates information in the medical record.
• Collects insurance information and ensures accurate billing and registration.
• Collects co-payments, reconciles cash drawer, and reports daily deposits.
• Manages work queues and provides high-quality customer service to patients and staff.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and assists clinical team as needed.
