Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3 years of related experience; waiver if degree obtained.
• Ability to use specialized applications software and computer systems.
• Must be multifunctional and able to work under stress.
• Excellent communication and human relations skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and patients for scheduled or urgent appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• May collect co-payments at arrival.
• Obtain signatures for consent and insurance/billing.
• Assess patient needs and refer to appropriate services.
