Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately enters demographic, insurance and related patient information into the registration system.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance, pre-authorization and referrals per insurer guidelines.
• Schedules Radiology, Lab and basic ancillary service appointments.
• Collects patient liabilities and processes payments prior to or on the date of service.
• Performs bed control, admissions, transfers and discharges as required.
• Maintains accurate records and handles clerical duties such as filing and transcription.
