Regional Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a professional Phone Operator to join our Wilmington team. You will answer multi-line calls, schedule new and existing patients, verify demographics and insurance, and direct inquiries to the appropriate physicians.

You will ensure accurate data entry and patient service that reflects our high standards of care. The role requires proficiency in Office tools, strong typing, and basic medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems is preferred.
• Typing accurately and quickly is essential.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology is required.

Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line phones promptly and courteously.
• Schedule patient appointments and enter demographics/insurance accurately.
• Direct inquiries to physician teams as needed.
• Maintain timely email communications and calendar updates.
• Assist with referral-related scheduling and questions.
