Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized New Patient Scheduler for the Raleigh location. This role is the first line of contact, handling calls and scheduling across multiple locations with accuracy and courtesy.

You will manage high-volume scheduling, verify patient information in the EHR, and coordinate with clinical teams to ensure seamless care. Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical scheduling call center or related role is required.
• Ability to handle high-volume phone calls with professionalism.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and manage high volume multi-line calls from patients and providers.
• Schedule new patient, follow-up and pre-operative appointments per provider requirements.
• Maintain accurate and organized schedules across locations.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance in the EHR.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to ensure seamless scheduling and care continuity.
• Return voicemails promptly and follow up on inquiries.
• Assist with appointment changes, cancellations and rescheduling as needed.
• Provide directions and information about clinic locations and services.
