Job summary

Texas Oncology in Webster, TX is seeking a Scheduler to join our team. This full-time role mainly supports the Webster location, scheduling patient appointments and tests and serving as a liaison between patients and medical staff.

The role offers LEVEL I, II, or Senior based on experience, with duties including appointment scheduling, insurance coordination, and maintaining scheduling templates in a patient-first environment.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–3 years experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers all incoming calls and directs to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules patient appointments and tests in the electronic system.
• Maintains scheduling templates and coordinates with physicians and staff.
• Collects co-pays and coordinates referrals as needed.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and follows front-office procedures.
