Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a receptionist to ensure a seamless patient experience at our clinics. You will greet patients, verify demographics, collect payments, and coordinate appointments while supporting the Revenue Cycle Management team and maintaining accurate health records.

Ideal candidates have front-office or medical reception experience, excellent communication, and proficiency with Windows and basic EHR systems. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, providing information on wait times and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and co-insurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments and prosthetic care delivery plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
