Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Patient Financial Access Specialist - OP to manage patient demographics, insurance data, and Scheduling in a busy outpatient setting. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, coordinating complex appointments, and ensuring timely reimbursement for services.

You will liaise with physicians, patients, and staff while maintaining compassionate patient interactions. The position requires 2–3 years of customer service experience in a hospital/physician office

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in customer service, preferably hospital/physician office.
• Experience with registrations, scheduling, and medical insurance/eligibility preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities; detail-oriented and compassionate.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule complex and time-sensitive appointments using Epic.Coordinate with physicians and staff to manage outpatient clinic appointments.
• Perform tasks to ensure reimbursement and patient flow efficiency.
• Provide training and support to staff on scheduling templates and processes.
