Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Two to three years in customer service, preferably in hospital/physician office.
• Experience with registration, scheduling, and medical insurance/eligibility preferred.

Aufgaben

• Patient throughput: gather information from referring physicians to ensure payer reimbursement.
• Accurately schedule follow-up physician appointments in the scheduling system.
• Enter insurance data correctly to satisfy billing requirements and determine benefits.
• Coordinate and support the scheduling of complex, time-sensitive appointments.
• Maintain Epic Templates for various locations in collaboration with clinical staff.
• Provide ongoing training and materials to staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
