Qualifications

• Experience in clerical or front desk roles preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments and verify demographics.
• Monitor patient wait times and inform patients of changes.
• Read and interpret insurance responses for encounters.
• Assign primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance per encounter.
• Provide necessary disclosures and obtain signatures.
• Explain financial obligations and collect fees at point of service.
• Complete required regulatory forms with patients.
• Schedule follow-ups and referrals as needed.
• Handle multi-channel messages about appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints.
• Notify patients about anticipated financial responsibility and collect payments.
• Post cash according to department guidelines.
