You will manage wait times, insurance verification, disclosures and signatures, schedule follow-ups, and handle multi-channel messages, maintaining accurate records and ensuring a smooth patient experience.

Responsabilités

• Check in patients for appointments and verify demographics
• Manage check-in procedures and monitor patient wait times
• Understand insurance guidelines to assign primary/secondary/tertiary coverage
• Provide required disclosures and secure necessary signatures
• Explain financial obligations and collect fees at time of service
• Complete regulatory forms with patients
• Schedule follow-up appointments including referrals and ancillary services
• Process multi-channel messages regarding appointments, referrals, prescriptions and complaints
• Post cash following department guidelines
• Maintain patient records and releases
• Assist with referrals and pre-certifications at time of encounter
• Maintain recall and reschedule lists
