Job summary

Qualifications

• Three years in a large healthcare setting with patient contact.
• Knowledge of third party payors including federal, state and private plans.
• Experience handling high volumes of phone calls and scheduling.
• Clear written and verbal communication; discretion and professionalism.
• Ability to navigate multiple healthcare systems during calls.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls and schedule appointments.
• Register patients and prepare referrals and authorizations.
• Coordinate between Hillcrest and La Jolla campuses as needed.
• Provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality.
