Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative to manage patient intake in our clinic. You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, schedule visits, and process referrals and authorizations with accuracy and courtesy.

Daily duties include check-in/out, collecting data and payments, verifying coverage, and recording information in the EMR, while upholding guidelines and delivering high-quality service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service work experience
• Healthcare or Call Center experience (preferred)
• Strong customer service skills and professional communication

Responsibilities

• Registers and checks patients in/out and handles demographic/insurance data
• Verifies insurance eligibility and processes referrals and authorizations
• Collects payments and schedules appointments; maintains accurate records in EMR
• Handles patient check-in/out and ensures compliance with guidelines
