Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, schedule appointments, verify information, and support insurance processes across our sites. The role emphasizes accurate data handling, strong customer service, and teamwork in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, healthcare reception experience, and excellent organizational skills. Travel to multiple JAG locations per policy is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to travel between JAG locations per policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide assistance and directions when necessary.
• Field calls on the general office line.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments using medical office software.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms to collect required information.
• Daily collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
