Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Access Representative in New Jersey. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, process registrations, verify insurance, and handle authorizations while maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering excellent service.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with travel across JAG locations for coverage. High school diploma or equivalent is required; medical assistant certs are preferred, and prior healthcare reception

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide assistance and directions.
• Field calls using the general office number.
• Schedule appointments using medical office software.
