Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a seamless healthcare experience. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, register new patients, and manage records while handling insurance authorizations and referrals.

This role emphasizes confidentiality and strong teamwork across locations. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1+ year healthcare front desk experience, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program is preferred.
• 1+ years as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide assistance and directions as needed.
• Field calls on the general office number.
• Use medical office software to schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Collect daily patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain patient record confidentiality.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of workers’ compensation and auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
