Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our warm, patient-focused team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, register new patients, verify insurance, and manage essential administrative tasks across JAG locations in the region.

The role supports a care-first model with uniforms provided, HSA options, and a 401(k) plan. Availability to travel among JAG sites and strong organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel to JAG locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions.
• Field calls using the general office number.
• Use medical office software to schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms to ensure required fields are completed.
• Daily collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as requested.
