Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Primary Care, Inc. is seeking a registration and scheduling specialist to support patient flow and billing information collection in the clinic.

You will serve as a frontline representative, handling in-person registrations, co-pay collection, and data entry with accuracy. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year in a high-volume customer service setting, with strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a high-volume customer service position.
• Strong customer service, PC skills, written and verbal communication, and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Register all new and established outpatients and collect co-pays.
• Data-enter information with high accuracy.
• Manage appointment check-ins and update statuses.
• Schedule and recall appointments and manage patient preferences.
• Answer phones professionally and assist patients in person using standard procedures (AIDET).
• Coordinate with Access Center to schedule patients and create access.
• Monitor waiting areas and maintain cleanliness and order.
• Escalate questions to appropriate resources to ensure patient satisfaction.
