Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a part-time patient access specialist to perform scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and coordination of tests and services. You will support hospital and physician office patients, manage calls, and ensure smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of clerical, customer service, or administrative support experience.
• One year of basic keyboarding and computer use.
• For regional positions, a valid driver's license is required.
• One year of registration experience, point of service collection, insurance validation, and order release knowledge.
• One year of Revenue Cycle experience in a hospital/medical office setting.
• Experience with Epic or similar Electronic Medical Record systems.
