Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years customer service or medical office experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficiency in computer data-entry/typing (40 wpm).

Responsibilities

• Responds to questions and concerns and provides exceptional customer service.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Interacts with hospital departments to schedule patients through NMHC systems.
• Performs medical necessity checks and informs patients of options if needed.
• Completes out-of-pocket estimations and documents in Epic notes.
• Works with scheduling staff to ensure accurate registrations and orders.
• Participates in training and cross-training to ensure coverage.
• Supports quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
