Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in patient registration or customer service, or an Associate/Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of PC window applications to input and retrieve data.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to perform basic math for insurance co-pays.
• Preferred knowledge of medical terminology; typing 30 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance and collect co-pays.
• Provide a friendly, patient-first experience and support front-end operations.
• Offer patient education on MyChart and appointment pass; handle phone triage as needed.
• Support scheduling, chart prep, for the Point of Services and ensure smooth workflow.
