Qualifications

• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.
• BLS may be required for certain locations/settings.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments, handling related paperwork.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorization, and enrollment in additional resources.
• Check in/out patients and manage recall and waitlists as needed.
• Maintain charts, prepare provider documents, and assist with billing tasks.
• Mentor other staff and maintain patient confidentiality.
