Job summary

Sanford Health in Marshfield, WI is seeking a Patient Access Representative to handle patient registration and scheduling. You will greet patients, verify demographics, create electronic files, collect payments, and route forms and documents.

In this role, you will collaborate with nursing staff and providers to coordinate appointments, manage recalls, and support revenue cycle workflows across locations. A high school diploma and strong customer service skills are required; BLS may be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education helpful.
• Experience in medical office settings and customer service is desirable.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics to register and/or schedule.
• Create electronic files and route necessary forms and documents.
• Educate patients on paperwork and collect co-payments or payments.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorizations, and scheduling with providers.
