Qualifications

• Post-secondary education helpful.
• One year of work experience in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.
• May require BLS for certain locations and/or settings.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patients; verify demographics and handle related paperwork.
• Greet patients, create electronic files, and collect co-payments or payments on account.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorization and billing activities as needed.
