Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by acting as the first contact in a busy call center or outpatient clinic setting.
• Verify key patient information (insurance, demographics, etc.) to ensure accurate billing and safety.
• Schedule patient appointments, reschedule as needed, and communicate changes to providers.
• Manage referrals and coordinate communication between clinics and departments.
• Answer calls, direct calls, and relay messages in Epic.
• Support coworkers, stay motivated, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Participate in departmental QA to minimize errors in registration processes.
• Precept new staff and respond to patient messages via the two-way texting platform; handle recalls and in-basket items.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.
