Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of customer service and/or clerical experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; higher-level degree may satisfy this requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in a busy call center or outpatient clinic.
• Verify key patient information (insurance, demographics) for accuracy.
• Schedule all patient appointments and reschedule cancellations when possible.
• Manage referrals for multiple clinics and follow referral policies.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and deliver messages in Epic.
• Support coworkers, be a positive communicator, and show willingness to improve.
• Precept new coworkers and respond to patient messages in two-way texting; manage in-basket messages and recall worklists.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
