Responsibilities

• Verifies key ADT information (insurance verification, demographics) to ensure patient safety, charging, coding, insurance processing, and billing accuracy.
• Schedules all new and follow-up patient appointments; communicates cancellations to provider as necessary.
• Completes and documents governmental, regulatory, financial, and contractual forms per procedure; ensures correct scanned location and legibility.
• Uses price estimation tool during registration to provide accurate estimates to patients.
• Meets departmental target for up-front collections (deposits, estimated amounts due, co-pays, and/or prior balances).
• Participates in QA by using system work queues and reducing errors.
