The position emphasizes first-contact resolution for patient concerns, updates to patient demographics and insurance information, and timely handling of billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a Clinic Office Specialist role.
• 2–5 years of experience as a medical receptionist or customer service position.
• 2–5 years of basic medical terminology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduling support and coordination of appointments.
• Assists with patient education materials and records handling.
• Handles billing questions and price estimates; resolves patient issues.
• Processes incoming calls and correspondence regarding billing issues and service questions.
• Documents all contacts with patients or clients as needed.
