Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).

• Medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greets, welcomes, and performs the registration process with patients in person or by phone.
• Collects demographic and insurance data and enters information into the EMR.
• Collects co-pays and/or remaining balances and handles signatures as needed.
• Directs patients to appointments and answers telephone inquiries, supporting office communications.
• Maintains the patient care lobby, restocks supplies, and supports scheduling as needed.
