Job summary

Allina Health in Buffalo, MN is seeking a Clinic Office Specialist to provide scheduling support and coordination of patient appointments. You will serve as a liaison for patients, families, providers and staff on billing and service questions, with occasional front desk cross-coverage.

The role supports patient accounts, updates demographics and handles billing inquiries while aiming to deliver excellent care and service in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a Clinic Office Specialist role
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a medical receptionist or customer service position
• 2 to 5 years of basic medical terminology experience

Responsibilities

• Provides scheduling support and coordination of appointments.
• Functions as an in-clinic resource for billing and service questions.
• Provides first resolution regarding patient complaints and documents contacts.
