Job summary

Rochester Regional Health in Rochester NY is seeking an Access Associate to greet patients, check-in/check-out, and support scheduling. You will be the first point of contact for patients and families in Outpatient Mental Health - RMHC.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with a schedule Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm. A 2-year degree or equivalent and strong communication and computer skills are preferred. Pay range listed below.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service. Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients providing direction as needed and scheduling patient appointments
• Registration & Verification. Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable
• Billing & Payments. Collect and process payments when applicable
