Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Pre-Services Coordinator to deliver top-level service, scheduling pre-service appointments, collecting demographics, and explaining costs to patients.

You will obtain patient information, support billing, and help arrange payment plans, working with insurance details and ensuring accurate registration.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, detail orientation, and experience in a fast-paced hospital call center environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years in registration and scheduling; 1–3 years in customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call, schedule, pre-register, explain estimates, and collect on patient accounts.
• Collaborate with teams to manage call volume and patient flow.
• Verify surgery appointments with patients after authorization and estimates.
• Create medical record numbers and enter registration information.
• Collect demographic and billing information courteously.
• Train and coach new staff as assigned.
