Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Pre-Services Coordinator to provide the highest level of customer service as patients schedule services, register information, and review estimates for care and billing. This role requires empathy and accuracy in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will manage scheduling, registration, financial conversations, and data entry while coordinating with clinics and physicians to ensure smooth patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of registration and scheduling experience; 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications; Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Call, schedule, pre-register, explain estimates, and collect on patient accounts.
• Confirm surgery appointments with patients after authorization and estimate.
• Create Medical Record numbers and enter registration information per guidelines.
• Collect demographic and billing information courteously.
• Identify and report issues impacting workflow; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Document medical history from scheduling to complete patient questionnaires.
• Answer questions about preparations for appointments and directions.
