Job summary

Humboldt Park Health is seeking an Administrative teammate to greet patients, handle registrations, and support front-desk operations at our Chicago ambulatory clinic. The role focuses on accurate data capture, insurance verification, and patient communication.

You will schedule appointments, collect payments, and liaise with the hospital business office to resolve billing questions while upholding patient confidentiality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of customer service experience required; 4+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and complete registration for appointments.
• Verifies patient insurance for all services and obtains required referrals or pre-authorization as needed.
• Collects necessary payment from patients at time of service.
• Provides and contributes to a positive patient experience and communicates all complaints to the manager.
• Prepares charts or patient records for the clinical team as needed.
