Responsibilities include check-in/out, insurance verification, and handling payments while maintaining confidentiality and smooth patient flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further healthcare admin education is a plus.
• Prior experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare support preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling/electronic record systems.
• Basic understanding of insurance verification, billing processes, or medical office procedures is helpful.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow established policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and warmly.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and verify demographics and insurance data.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments per office protocols.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Collect copayments, balances, and other payments per procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and support documentation.
• Explain office policies, forms, and patient instructions clearly.
• Coordinate with clinical/admin teams to support patient flow.
• Handle sensitive information with discretion and privacy compliance.
• Resolve routine concerns and escalate when needed.
