Qualifications

• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsibilities

• Registers all new and established outpatients upon arrival, verifying, collecting co-payments, and updating required information with high accuracy.
• Statuses all appointments at check-in and ensures end-of-day status for proper charges. Enters future appointment requests and schedules multi-appointments.
• Rounds with patients in waiting areas and provides status updates on wait times and changes.
• Monitors waiting areas for cleanliness and appearance.
• Collaborates with the Access Center to schedule patients and create access; meets department productivity standards.
• Works on scheduling work queues and recall lists by calling patients to set up appointments.
