Job summary

Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice in Brandon, FL. You will collect patient information, verify eligibility, schedule visits, and assist with billing questions to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, are organized, and can multi-task in a busy healthcare environment while maintaining HIPAA compliance and using eCW EMR systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others while ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills required.
• Customer-centric, warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• High level of computer literacy with the ability to use MS Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume dynamic atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Collect and confirm patient demographics; update profiles.
• Collect payments and assist with billing questions.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and documents into EMR (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy.
