Job summary

Women’s Care in Winter Park, FL seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice, greeting patients, collecting demographics, and verifying insurance. You’ll greet patients, confirm appointments, and help with registrations with a warm, professional demeanor.

You will handle billing questions, schedule and reschedule appointments, enter data into the EMR (eCW), set up payment plans, and ensure a smooth, compliant patient experience with HIPAA rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient-focused approach.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume medical office and work with patients, co-workers, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Collect demographics, verify insurance, and update patient profiles.
• Collect payments and assist with billing questions per policies.
• Scan insurance cards and documents into the EMR system (HIPAA compliant).
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments; ensure check-out and follow-ups.
• Enter and verify data in the EMR (eCW) and ensure tidy front lobby areas.
• Assist patients with online registration and respond to inquiries promptly.
