Job summary

Women’s Care, a leading women’s health group, is hiring a Patient Access Representative in Safety Harbor, FL. You will greet patients, collect demographics, assist with billing questions, and manage scheduling with EMR entries.

A strong focus on patient experience and accurate data is essential for a smooth visit flow. The role requires a high school diploma and excellent customer service, with the ability to handle high volumes and multi-task in a fast-paced medical office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience focus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Warm, welcoming and professional demeanor.
• Proficient with basic computer programs including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Collect demographics, update patient profiles and ensure accuracy.
• Assist with billing concerns and time-of-service collection goals.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs and documents into EMR with HIPAA compliance.
• Set up payment plans per policy and answer questions about policies.
• Answer high volume calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Confirm appointments and monitor lobby wait times.
• Assist with online registration and form completion when needed.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
• Ensure proper checkout of patients and update scheduling in the system.
• Maintain tidy lobby/front area and support a professional environment.
