Women’s Care PC is seeking a Patient Access Representative to welcome patients, collect information, and schedule appointments. You will verify demographics, assist with billing concerns, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of records.

The role requires exceptional customer service, strong organization, and proficiency with EMR systems; prior experience in a medical office is preferred. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor.

• Proficient with computers and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Collect and verify patient demographics for registration.
• Answer a high volume of calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system (HIPAA compliant).
• Assist patients with billing concerns and payment plans as needed.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and ensure proper checkout.
• Verify insurance eligibility and registration prior to visits.
