Job summary

Women's Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Jacksonville, FL. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, handle payments, and route appointments, while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of information and a positive patient experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong customer service, exceptional communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced practice. Experience in medical offices and eCW is a plus.

• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented; proficient with computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update profiles.
• Collect payment and assist with billing while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans and explain financial policies to patients.
• Answer a high volume of calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
