• 1-3 years related work experience; healthcare/Call Center experience beneficial.
• Experience with computer systems including web-based applications and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Answers and screens a high volume of calls professionally.
• Uses scripts and triage guidelines to determine appointment type and urgency.
• Schedules appointments using centralized system; updates demographics as needed.
• Obtains referrals and documents payer information (worker’s comp, auto liability).
• Provides patient prep info for visits and coordinates tests and procedures.
• Resolves scheduling issues in collaboration with management; forwards messages to providers.
