St. Charles Health System is seeking a Patient Service Representative to act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, handling reception, scheduling, registration, and billing tasks to support efficient patient care.

The role partners with healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient access, accurate data capture, and courteous service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of clerical healthcare experience preferred.
• Basic medical terminology familiarity appreciated.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule appointments according to department guidelines to maximize access and provider utilization.
• Use electronic health system to maintain appointment requests, waitlists and follow-ups.
• Record patient demographics, insurance and billing information at scheduling, check-in and checkout.
