Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of clerical support in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patients based on department guidelines and ensures provider utilization.
• Performs full registration at time of scheduling and check-in.
• Maintains appointment requests, waitlists and follow-up reports in the EHR.
• Handles patient payments (copays, coinsurance, etc.) and processes deposits.
• Provides After Visit Summary and schedules follow-ups when requested.
