Essentia Health is seeking a Patient Access/Registration specialist at Northern Pines Medical Center. You will greet customers, collect demographic and financial data, verify insurance, and provide cost estimates for upcoming visits.

Role requires handling co-pays, coordinating with Virtual Patient Registration Representatives and Patient Schedulers, and scheduling follow-ups per physician orders. Shifts include Day/Eve/Night, with rotating weekends and no holiday obligation.

Qualifikationen

• Interviews patients to obtain demographic details, financial information, and health information for accurate registration and care.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards and IDs, updates patient information in the medical record as needed.
• Performs point of service data collection, including collecting co-pays and down payments and reconciling the cash drawer.
• Maintains all assigned work queues per supervisor instructions and guidance.
• Interacts with patients and staff to deliver high levels of customer service.
• Answers calls, schedules appointments, and refers to clinical team as needed.
• Sanitizes registration equipment between uses and restocks supplies.
• Performs other clerical duties as assigned.
