Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer data-entry/typing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Ability to type 40 wpm.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and schedule appointments through NMHC systems.
• Respond to questions and concerns; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Collect demographic information and verify data accuracy.
• Perform medical necessity checks and explain options if an appointment fails.
• Communicate effectively with staff across units and departments.
• Assist in training and onboarding of new staff; cross-train for coverage.
• Participate in quality assurance reviews and process improvements.
