Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Experience with scheduling and registration processes.

Responsibilities

• Responds to questions and concerns.
• Directs, forwards, and notifies leadership of extraordinary issues as necessary.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients.
• Interacts with hospital departments to schedule patients through NMHC systems.
• Performs medical necessity checks for scheduled services.
• Completes out-of-pocket estimations as requested.
• Participates in Quality Assurance reviews and training.
